Phabulous Paresa Phuket : Holiday In Style with Fashion Valet

Paresa Phuket, or in other words ‘Heaven of all Heavens’ is the best description of this luxurious retreat on the seaside slopes of Kamala Cliffs, west of Phuket, away from the busy streets and crowded beaches. If you’re used to the busy and colorful aspects of Phuket’s Patong beach, Paresa will instil nothing but tranquility and calmness in you. It’s like the Garden of Eden perched amid tropical forests and surrounded by azure blue waters of the Andaman sea. Why stay on a sandy beach when you can have all this :

Nestle up

Paresa Phuket is an impressive property with sleek architectural details, elegant but not overpowering. They have 9 types of suites and villas to suit your fancy, each with a distinctive style of its own. If you think you will have to make some difficult choices in choosing which room to stay, fret not because in Paresa ALL guest rooms and villas are facing the sea! So you’ll get the equivalent awesome view from any room.

Each room also comes with a private infinity pool, a bathtub with a view and a spacious bathroom fit for a king. Not to mention complimentary wifi and breakfast in the morning. Basically everything you need on an island retreat to get away from it all.

Tantalize your taste buds

Whether you’re here to celebrate a special event or just to get away from the hustle bustle of the city, Paresa will have the food for the occasion. Talung Thai, Paresa Resort’s signature restaurant, serves authentic Thai cuisine and offers a menu of the most popular and unique dishes with a southern Thai influence. If you fancy some wholesome Italian flavor instead, head on to the Diavolo Restaurant which serves a generous à la carte breakfast followed by Italian delicacies throughout the day.

The ultimate dining experience for me would be the Infinity Dining. Picture yourself having a mouthwatering 3 course dinner menu overlooking the sun setting on the horizon from the infinity pool, with the sound of waves crashing below. A picture perfect moment to cherish forever.

For those avid foodies (like me!) who wants more than just devouring Thai flavors, you can also learn how to cook and discover more about the local cuisine at the Recipe – a cooking school with state-of-the-art facilities. The experience starts from selecting fresh ingredients in the morning market with the master chef and afterwards he will guide you through the preparation and cooking of four Thai dishes. (Italian Cooking Classes is also available on request.) Once done, you will be able to enjoy the meal you cooked and celebrate your new found cooking skills!

Rejuvenate your body, mind and soul

Paresa also offers other facilities and services such as complimentary shuttle service that runs to/from Kamala Beach, a gym with an astounding view, meeting rooms (although I’m not sure how one can get ANY work done in this lovely surroundings), an Award Winning Spa inspired by Thai ancient healing and a Miracle Lawn where magical weddings took place.

One of my favourite things about traveling is watching the sun go down in different locations, because each place gives you it’s own essence as to how it looks and feels. In Paresa, you will get the best spot to watch spectacular sunsets on the huge terrace facing the sea. This resort is indeed a charming escape, a photographer’s paradise and honeymoon worthy. All you need to do is prepare yourself for a breathtaking over-the-top visual experience.

Traveling in style

An island getaway should be all about relax and comfort, the two main criteria in choosing what to wear – from boarding the plane, to a stroll by the beach a few hours later. My collection below is inspired by the calm blue seas overlooking Paresa, combined with some dash of pink and mint green to give it a fresh and modern look, while maintaining the comfortable feeling. The collection below is available just a click away on Fashion Valet. (Don’t worry, they ship worldwide). All that’s missing is a good book, a big straw hat, sunglasses and you’re good to go!

A dream come true

After feasting my eyes on the oh-so heavenly view like the Paresa, there is nothing more I’d like other than to experience it in flesh! 2015 is actually a year where I recently became a homeowner. (Yay!) Nothing big and fancy,  just a tiny little space for me and my 8 year old to grow up with. In the current economy where property is super expensive, having actually bought one on my own is a dream come true.

Having said that, every extra penny I get will go to the house – from the lawyer’s fee to fixing the locks, replacing chipped tiles, new paint and the list goes on. So it’s less money in the let’s-go-travel-island-destination-break fund and more for the new-home-fixing-decor-eric-leong-help-me fund. And that simply means no wanderlust escapades for me this year. *sob sob

I’d definitely like to win a stay at Paresa Phuket on The Luxe Nomad simply because I love the sun, the sea, the salty island breeze and after all the hard work, indulging in the scenic view and serenity of Paresa is just what I need. I could really use some pampering by the Paresa ‘Angels’ for once and experience the ultimate Infinity Dining and loosen some knots at their award winning spa. Not to mention arriving there in style donning Fashion Valet from head-to-toe looking like a million bucks – that would be another dream come true.
